Hunting Simulator or Firewatch [Express review]

A wonderful game was already released yesterday – Firewatch. I went through the game with one swayed in 4 hours, trying not to miss a single Acre of the Wyoming Forest, and now I will try to briefly tell about the features, pluses and cons of this project without spoilers. Naturally, everything written below is my subjective opinion.

The man, for whom we have to follow the forest, is the name of Henry and what forced him to go to work by the caretaker of the forest, you will learn from a small background, which I mentioned above. This epithet briefly describes the graphics in this game, which, although it is not advanced in terms of technology, it looks pretty good. Personally, she reminded me of something recently released The Witness, only less contrasting, saturated and more matte. Backgrounds in this game turned out to be quite good. At one point, something unusual will happen that will make you think for a long time on the events that take place in the game. At the end of the game, there were many different guesses, and I hope that the events of the game will drag you as well as me.

Fortunately for people who do not know English, a couple of hours before the release of the game brought the Russian language, so everyone can play.

The main part of the time you will spend on the fact that you will walk through the Weiming Forest, but not all places can be hit immediately. Start the game with a card and a compass. There are not so many music in this game, a few embabants in the game itself and a good song in tires. I would not say that the game stands out strongly, but does not ask for. Music, as for me, sometimes not in the subject, but listening to it is a pleasure.

Despite all the above, the game has a few minuses. In addition to already named music, a slightly protracted gameplay can be called not in the subject. No, well, serious, sometimes you have to go from one end of the card to the other, and if it were not for the opportunity to run quickly and the presence of short ways, I would not have gone through the game at a time. But it is worth saying that this is, in a kind, a typical problem of all modern boils. Fortunately, the plot of this game and talk about this is diluting this process of moving.

Without further words, my 82 out of 100 on Metacritic received the game not in vain. An excellent plot, diluted gameplay, pleasant graphics and especially outstanding attention to details leave nothing but positive emotions and some attachment to the main characters after passing.
